Well Edge Creative

Retreat Center Website Design & Branding

The experience already exists.
Let's make it visible.

I design and build websites, redesign outdated ones, and create logos and brand identities for retreat centers, wellness destinations and retreat founders, so guests understand, trust and book what you've already built.

Retreat work in Colombia and Vietnam, from new brands to established operators.

The struggle

You've built something real. Your website doesn't say so.

This is the part most retreat founders don't say out loud, but almost all of them feel it.

  • You know your retreat is special, but your website reads like every other one.
  • You have beautiful photos, dozens of them, and still no story that ties them together.
  • Guests land on your site and can't tell your programs apart.
  • Your offering has grown for years. Your website structure is from when you started.
  • Bookings happen through a mix of forms, email threads and spreadsheets, and something always slips through.
  • You want more international guests, but your brand still reads local, or worse, inconsistent.
  • You need facilitators to want to host at your venue, not just guests to attend.
  • Your homepage lists what you offer. It never explains why it matters.

None of this means the retreat is the problem. It usually means the website was built before the retreat became what it is now.

What I build

Depending on where your retreat is right now, that's a new website, a redesign of what you have, or a brand and logo that finally matches the experience.

Website Design & Development

New Retreat Website

For a retreat, wellness destination or facilitator business that doesn't have a website yet, or has outgrown a one-pager built years ago.

  • Retreat overview plus individual program and accommodation pages
  • A guest journey and a facilitator journey, built side by side
  • Booking-ready contact forms and inquiry flow
  • Mobile-first, fast, and structured for search from day one
  • WordPress or custom Next.js development, whichever fits your team

Branding

Logo & Brand Identity

For a retreat that's outgrown its first logo, or a new concept that needs one before anything else gets built.

  • Naming or brand evolution
  • Logo, color palette, typography and iconography
  • Brand guidelines so it stays consistent across every channel
  • Print: business cards, brochures, signage, stationery

A retreat CRM, built for how retreats actually run

Alongside client work, I'm building a lightweight CRM made specifically for retreat operators: guest records, retreat selection, health questionnaires, deposits and payments, and post-retreat follow-up, in one place instead of scattered across forms, inboxes and spreadsheets.

  • Guest records tied to a retreat ID, not a spreadsheet row
  • Deposit and payment status at a glance
  • Health questionnaires and preparation calls in the same view
  • Built from real operational work with an existing retreat business

It's not for sale yet. If it sounds useful for your retreat, mention it on our call and I'll factor it into the roadmap.

A retreat website isn't a database

Rooms, treatments and schedules matter, but they're not what makes someone book. A retreat website has to connect place, experience, transformation and trust before it ever gets to booking.

Before anyone books, they're quietly asking themselves:

  • What will actually happen to me there?
  • Who is this for, and is that me?
  • Why should I trust these people with my time and money?
  • What makes this different from the retreat down the road?
  • Where will I stay, what's included, what isn't?
  • What does a typical day look like?
  • What happens between booking and arriving?
  • Who do I ask if I have questions or health concerns?

The job of the website is to answer these, in order, without ever feeling like a form to fill out.

Retreat work

Two very different starting points: a location becoming a retreat brand, and an established retreat operation becoming a coherent digital ecosystem.

Turning a guesthouse into a retreat destination

Kary & Nhung had a beautiful, remote Caribbean location and a genuine hospitality offer, but no clear retreat identity. The brand needed to speak to two different audiences at once: guests considering a retreat, and facilitators looking for a venue to host their own.

Brand evolution and naming, retreat positioning, a full visual identity grounded in the coastal setting, and a website built around a facilitator journey and a guest journey side by side.

A clearer professional presentation, the first retreat bookings and facilitator inquiries, and a reusable brand system that now supports sales conversations, not just the website.

Three retreat products, one coherent brand and booking system

Vietnam Detox has run guided Buchinger fasting retreats in Vietnam for over ten years, with genuinely loyal guests and strong feedback, but the brand and website weren't communicating that depth to an international audience, and three separate retreat products needed their own clear identity within one system.

A refined premium brand direction (deep forest green, ivory, ember accents, a custom flame mark), and a full site rebuild: individual pages for Yên Retreat at Alba Wellness Valley Huế, An Retreat at Legacy Yên Tử MGallery and Hồi Retreat at Fusion Resort Da Nang, plus a Private Retreat format (5 to 14 days). Each retreat page carries real dates, live availability and per-person pricing. The site runs in English, Vietnamese and German.

A coherent, premium brand across every retreat product, small groups (max. 14 guests) presented with the trust and clarity a guided fasting retreat needs, and a booking-ready, trilingual website that positions Vietnam Detox alongside the wellness hotel brands it partners with, not underneath them.

What's different about working with me

Not template-first

The work starts with understanding your retreat, your audience and your offer, not with picking a theme.

Strategy and implementation together

I move from positioning and information architecture through design into actual, working code.

Retreat-specific journeys

Retreat guests need more trust and information than someone making a simple online purchase. The site has to earn that.

Hospitality and transformation, both

A retreat website has to sell the physical destination and the personal experience at once.

Operational awareness

Real experience with bookings, deposits, health questionnaires, multilingual systems and retreat logistics, not just page design.

Founder-led

You work directly with me from the first call through launch, not with an account manager.

Who's behind this

I'm Jan, founder of Well Edge Creative. I studied Online & Digital Media at Hochschule Furtwangen and have spent seven years working across branding, web design and development. My retreat work spans a Caribbean retreat destination in Colombia and an established wellness operator in Vietnam, which means I've helped build a retreat brand from scratch and helped an experienced operator turn years of guest trust into a modern digital presence. I've also spent extended periods traveling internationally, which shapes how I think about retreats that need to speak to guests from more than one culture.

Your retreat may already be extraordinary.

The challenge is making people understand that before they arrive. Let's talk about yours, no pressure, just a conversation about where you are and where you want to be.
